Majlis Khatan - 21/11/2009

Neneknya suruh dia berendam dulu (mcm style dulu2). So, dia dan seorang lagi anak buah saya yg seumur dgnnya berbuat demikian.

Wajah cool anak bongsu saya ...

Setelah bersiap, mereka bersarapan. Lihatlah mereka semua riang ria saja bila mereka berkumpul sebelum bertolak ke klinik.

My Daughter's Departure to University Al-Azhar,Mesir

After a long break, at last I managed to compile my moment to be away from my daughter. She had now left us to a destination in pursuing her dream. My daughter is the first grand daughter, first niece to all my siblings in other words “Sulong” who had say ‘YES’ to an offered to Egypt, University Al-Azhar in Mesir.

The preparation was very hectic as we have only 3 weeks to do almost everything at one time...
- items for her to be brought abroad,
- Ramadhan,
- Hari Raya biscuits order which the respond was Alhamdulillah good and
- the preparation for Hari Raya Aidilfitri as well …

09/09/2009 was the date she accepted the further study offered. She was supposed to depart on the 14/09/09 but had to declined due to short of time and having thought of she could be with us on the Hari Raya day which fall on the 20/09/09.

A Little Note for Syuhada ...

WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH !__________________________________________________

My dearest Syuhada,

There will be no other things that really can make parents proud but to see their incumbent success especially in their studies. U are already on the correct track of your dream but yet to make it a reality as you are only at the track start lane... bare in mind that nothing comes easily. If U think that U'd work hard to be in this track, U must double or triple up your efforts in order to get to the end of your track successfully ..

Akak, of all the Universities that we have plan for, we never thought of University Al-Azhar.. but Allah wants U to be there. Its really a reality by surprise, something to ponder.. What I can say is, If Allah wants anything to happen, it will happen. Whether u want it or not believe me its best for U.. and DOA is still the best action everyone can do, but if it's still doesn't reach to our expectation it means that Allah hv the great plan for U.

Another thing kak, LOVE ALLAH always and remember the safest hope for u to depend on to is no other but Allah .. and ALLAH will give U the best.. to the fullest happiest moment one fine day!

Your journey is still too far to go, you really have to be patient, have a very strong and good spirit along the way and your mission must be the main objective for your very own choice of future undertakings..

Ibu at this point, cannot see you doing your homework, cannot watch U leaving for kolej and cannot nagging at U if U waste your time. But ... one thing that I can still do is, Pray to Allah for your good will and best endeavour..

So akak, study at your level best and bring back that Successful Scroll at the end of this journey. With the correct target, effort and determination, I know you can do it!

bid-goodbye ..
MATAHARIKU ... TERUSKANLAH..

I HIT A MOTORCYCLIST – 08/09/09

Since 1996 of driving experienced, today I had hit a motorcyclist for the very 1st time. It happened at the normal driveway to the basement parking of the office building.

On that day, there was a long que at the entrance of the basement parking. This was due to the technical error which then had lead to the non working auto gate. With this error, the parking attendant instructed us to make a U-Turn to temporarily park at the open space parking that was just in front of the office building. So, everyone started to make the said U-Turn including me. Once a U-turn was made, there’s a junction with a little hilly road to cross to the right where everyone was heading.

Everything goes smooth at 1st. Came to my turned, I had given my right signal to informed my action as I saw the motorcyclist but I just don’t understand why I did not stop before I cross and at the same time the motorcyclist did the same thing. She did not stop her motorbike whilst she saw me un-break my car.

With that result, I had hit her… This was what so called panic I supposed, as I am still in my driving mode even though I knew that I had hit a motorcyclist. Once I noticed I’d hit the wrong paddle, I quickly stop my car. I saw the girl was in pain as her motorbike fall on her leg. I ran towards her and did not know what to do but to hug to cool her down as I understood that she’s in pain, shaking of shock and at the same time frightened. Not only her I was shocked too and seeing her in that condition, I suddenly felt sad and was broke into tears. (terfikir kalau tu anak I !!! – hua hua)

After the other passers by lift-up the motorbike, I offered myself to send her to the nearest clinic. She called her office colleagues to take care of her motorbike.

On the way to the clinic, I explained what had happened and she too felt that she was wrong too for not stopping as she expected me to stop coz normally cars will stop before they make any turn. She’s right as that is what I normally do. Only on that day I had wrongly hit the drive paddle instead. She said that it could be avoided if she’s the one who stop moreover when she saw me not stopping…

After doctor’s confirmed that there wasn’t any serious injured, I sent her home. I asked if she live with her parents so that I could drop by and appologised to the parents too, but she said she live with her friends. Her parents are in Kedah.

Alhamdulillah, there was no serious things happened. Her motorbike had safely taken care off by her office colleagues and as for my car, only the front bumper clip was pulled out.

Difficult to described my own feeling in this incidents. My mind keep thinking of my children on the road … moreover when they are far away from family..

Through my passed experienced to a serious injuries of my son, he himself fell from his motorbike. A lorry driver who contacted my husband to informed about the incident and even called the ambulance to recue my son did a very good thing. Until today we have not managed to meet up with the lorry driver. “Allah sahaja yg akan membalas segala jasa baiknya”

So, to all road users out there be very carefull ok.

To Rafiza, the motorcyclist that I hit, believe me Allah knows best, setiap sesuatu kejadian ada pengajaran. I am sure either U or me, we have had our lesson learnt, right!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MATAHARIKU ...

My eldest daughter had plus a year more to her age last Saturday.. meaning that, I have a grown-up sweet lady in my family. On that morning I gave her a big hug wishing birthday to her and a little carried away as my eyes breaks into tears of happiness, feeling great to have her still in my warmest hugs without fail from the 1st day she was born till today when the teenage label has to be moved away ..

As my husband had to leave as early as 6.00am to the catering hall, I called my husband to plan out something for our daughter’s birthday but he’s tied up with the catering project. He told me that he has SMS our daughter wishing BIRTHDAY to her. I came to know from the Birthday girl that my 2nd son was the 1st person who wished BIRTHDAY to her.. how lovely these siblings remembering each other.. ALHAMDULILLAH

As my husband and both my son will be busy at the serving hall for the catering projects, he still requested me to proceed with my plan to bring our daughter out even without them. Understood the commitment that we’ve been engaged with until the 1st September 2009, I’d to absent myself assisting the kitchen team for this weekend.

So, my 2nd daughter and I took the BIRTHDAY GIRL to the nearest Complex that I could think of i.e. ALAMANDA

We had our lunch at The Noodle Station. We took our own sweet time eating & chit-chatting.

After our lunch, we proceed to the watch gallery. I told her that my husband & I wanted her to have a new watch as a Birthday present and from a few design that been selected, finally she decided.

She did not expected any present for her especially when my husband thru sms texted her by saying “Ayah have nothing to give as time is bad, just able to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY 2 U”. That make her truly appreciated her present and she thanks to both of us.

We didn’t even realized that we have spent almost 6 hours together, so we decided to have a short break at the Big Apple doughnuts (her favorite) before we left for home.

My Dearest Daughter,
There is nothing that could make me happy other than to see you happier ever. There’s a lot of dream and hope been kept inside me expecting nothing else but your happiness and wish that everything will be shown-up one fine day. May ALLAH bless you, makes u a better Muslimah & keep you heart away from Syaitan … AMIINN

MY ANNIVERSARY BOY ..

4th June … Asif Birthday! On the day itself the only action that I could think of was, sent him sms wishing him “ALLAH SELAMATKAN KAMU”…

5th June i.e. Friday, office was off replaced Agong Birthday which fall on the next day i.e. Saturday. Everyone was not at home. My dearest Hubby working, eldest daughter went to college and the other 3 of my children spent their holiday at my mom house since the school holiday started.

I decided to bake and decorate 2 cakes. Double check the item to be used for the baking project and almost everything needed for the baking & decorating, avail.

From the photo attached, the 2nd cake which was supposed to be my Anniversary cake was not decorated as what I wanted it to be. During the processed of decorating the 1st cake, I realized that the plain butter cream will not be enough for my 2nd cake. So, I combined all the cup cakes (21 pieces all together) into one. Even though the surface was not fully covered, I had tried my best to decorate it as beautiful as I could.

Happy Birthday Asif,
In this life, everything that happened have a unique symbolic meaning that we have to study in order to be a good Muslim .. Be good to your family, love us more, pray for us more ... believe me, one day you'll be someone that make us proud and hope you'll always be there for us anytime we needed you... as we always pray for you and will always be here for you....

Last but not least

So, happy viewing…

2ND TERM SCHOOL BREAK : POT LUCK PICNIC

7th June 09, we organized a family gathering pot luck picnic in Ulu Langat, Selangor. There were 7 families all together and everyone met up at the destination as planned. Unfortunately, three of my intermediate family members (including my sister in Langkawi) was unable to join us as they are out of town. Ulu Langat is a very popular picnic location in Malaysia especially within the Selangor area due to its origin forest and beautiful river banks.

Normally during this period, there are many people ‘hunting’ for a suitable area to have their picnic at the river bank side and the chalet will be fully booked before time. Anyway as for us, our mom cousin’s chalet makes avail for our family gathering picnic. The chalet is just beside the river, complete with the electrical facilities such as TV with Astro programme (just insert your own Astro card), kettle, fan & 1 sofa bed. The owner, Hj Ismail Basar & family welcome us as we reached to his chalet. On top of that, he & his family warmed us more by inviting all to fish at his fish pond behind his bungalow
.

The best thing was everyone brought their own dish and luckily all the dishes are variety eventhough we have not plan for what food to bring. My 2 brothers and my mom prepared fish & lamb to grill, sambal udang petai, kurma daging, special gravy to be eaten with the grill item called “penchek”, nasi impit & plain rice. Each of my three aunties prepared ‘Rojak’, Japanese food, sandwiches, fried mee hoon & coconut jelly respectively. From my family, we prepared “Asam Laksa”. We have mineral syrup sour plum for our drinks.

We had so much fun the whole day at the Lopoh River dipping & playing among family and have fun together in the river. The boys & guys went fishing later in the evening and as for us (girls & ladies), we went for an evening walk to the nearby jungle toured by Pn Ana (Hj Ismail’s wife). Meanwhile at the pond, my son managed to fished up 3 Talipia Merah which he then released it back into the pond whilst my nephew fished up 1 Haruan and he brought it back for his mom who had gift birth via operation.

As there’s still a lot of food left, Pn Ana generously cooked plain rice and all of us had dinner at the chalet before we bid goodbye to each other. They even invited us to spend a night at their chalet, but we had to take a ‘raincheck’. Furthermore, my eldest daughter will sit for the last exam paper the very next day.

On overall my husband & I personally enjoyed our day especially with the presence of all our incumbents with us, our parents, aunties, uncles, brothers, in-law plus nieces & nephews. We are very happy to see how they corporate plus taking care of each other among their siblings & cousins. In fact the elder fed food to the younger cousins as they refused to get up from the river!!

For everyone out there who would like to experience this joyful picnic place, pls call 012-3667410 for booking and information.

If you are adventurous enough, you could climb the mountain to reach the top of the waterfall which is more beautiful. According to Pn Ana, the distance to the waterfall is about 2 hours walking from her chalet
.
So, lets check it out!

MY DAUGHTER'S GUEST

Her name is Nil Irma. She is my daughter's college mate. At that time they were very busy preparing themself for the upcoming final exam.

Nil spent a night at our house that day. That evening my daughter fetched me from the office and on the way back we stop at the Lake Club in Precinct 8 just to have a very nice evening walk along the lake side. She enjoyed the scenary and plan to go there again.

MY SURPRISED BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

This year my dearest eldest daughter gang-up with her siblings + my husband + my mom arranged a surprised birthday party for me…

That morning my husband drove me to the office as my daughter wanted to use my car to collage. So, that evening he fetched me and informed that my mom wanted to stay overnight at our house and he preferred to go straight to my mom’s house from the office. I have no objection. So, we went to fetched her. On our way, he told that my son who worked with KFC wanted to bought KFC for his nenek and it’s ok with me as to me that’s our dinner

When we reached home, it was already late i.e. 7.30pm. I gave “Salam” to my children, and when they open the door they straight away sang me a HAPPY BIRTHDAY song and I was speechless ... my house was enlighten with the candle light.. it was so beautiful..

I was told that they projected their plan the whole day started from they went to the shop to purchased the item for baking muffins and actually, my eldest daughter doesn’t have class on that day. I really don’t expect the idea of having this surprise especially from her as I understand that she have something personal that she have to attend to and due to that she is not in a good term to fulfill any enjoyment moment .. but she kept all everything aside and proceed with her planned to make me happy.

She managed to arranged very good teamwork together with her siblings, is the most that I am proud of … and for those who did their role played well, my dearest hubby & my mom, both are so wonderful !!!

For my son, who have bought a present from his 1st salary .. thank you so much for your thoughts …. I love each & everyone of U.. MUUUAAAHXX
